Dirty Dogz Dayspa was established in 2012. We are locally owned and operated in Wollongong, open to service any pooch or puss with a grooming package tailored to suit your needs.

At Dirty Dogz Dayspa we are a professional team dedicated to taking care of your pets to the highest standards in the grooming industry, making your pets feel good about themselves and looking a million dollars is our number one priority. We believe creating a bond with owners and their pets is a big part of our service and making sure our clients are happy. We are all pet owners and have a love and passion for all animals. We specialise in all behavioural issues aggressive or fear related, dog specialty clipping and cat clipping.

Our books operate on a plan ahead style system, as we are a busy salon. To avoid disappointment, we ask that you book in advance. Our staff are also happy to help organise regular grooming appointments for a pampered pooch or puss all year round.

Our salon is cage free, professional, modern, clean and inviting. Our salon is airconditioned to make it as comfortable as possible no matter what the weather for our four legged friends. Our aim here at Dirty Dogz Dayspa is to replicate a home like environment for your beloved pet.

We use state of the art modern professional equipment in our salon. Only the best for our 4 legged friends.

Sedation is an issue we feel strongly against. We believe trust, patience and perseverance plays a big part to overcome any aggressive and fear related issues.

We will not de-mat any pet. We have a humanity before vanity approach.

Alysha

Head Grooming Stylist | Salon Manager | Owner

With over 19 years of experience in the pet grooming industry, Alysha brings a wealth of knowledge, exceptional grooming skills and a genuine passion for animal care to Dirty Dogz Dayspa & Daycare.

As our Head Grooming Stylist and Salon Manager, Alysha specialises in professional breed-specific styling, advanced grooming techniques, cat grooming, creative grooming and working with pets requiring additional patience and understanding.

Her extensive experience in animal handling and behaviour allows her to approach each pet with confidence, compassion and a calm, caring manner, always prioritising their comfort and wellbeing.

As a co-owner of Dirty Dogz, Alysha is passionate about maintaining high standards of grooming, animal welfare and customer care. Her dedication, attention to detail and commitment to her profession are at the heart of everything we do.

Outside the salon, Alysha’s love for animals continues at home, where she enjoys spending time with her own much-loved pets.

Katy

Pet Grooming Stylist | Salon Supervisor

Katy is a valued member of the Dirty Dogz Dayspa & Daycare team, bringing enthusiasm, dedication and a genuine love for animals to her role as Pet Grooming Stylist and Salon Supervisor.

With over four years of experience in the pet grooming industry, Katy is skilled in grooming dogs of various breeds, sizes and coat types. Having developed her skills under the guidance and training of our Head Grooming Stylist, Alysha, she has become a confident and capable member of our grooming team.

Alongside her grooming responsibilities, Katy plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of the salon, assisting with client communication, appointment coordination and administrative duties.

Known for her friendly approach and commitment to customer service, Katy helps ensure our clients feel welcomed, informed and confident in the care their pets receive.

Her passion for animals, attention to detail and dedication to providing a positive grooming experience make her an important part of the Dirty Dogz team.

James

Pet Grooming Stylist

With over five years of experience in the pet grooming industry, James brings a strong combination of grooming expertise, patience and a genuine passion for working with dogs to the Dirty Dogz team.

Confident in grooming dogs of all shapes and sizes, James has particular experience in breed-specific styling, specialty clipping and working with long and curly-coated breeds. His attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure each dog receives a professional grooming experience tailored to their individual needs.

James takes pride in building positive relationships with the dogs in his care, approaching each grooming session with patience, kindness and understanding.

His dedication to animal wellbeing, combined with his grooming skills and gentle approach, makes him a valued member of our team.

Hayley

Senior Bathing & Drying Technician | Pet Grooming Stylist

With over 10 years of industry experience, Hayley brings extensive knowledge, practical skills and a genuine passion for animal care to Dirty Dogz Dayspa & Daycare.

As our Senior Bathing & Drying Technician, Hayley plays an important role in maintaining the high standards of our grooming services. Her experience also extends to professional pet styling, allowing her to assist with a variety of grooming requirements throughout the salon.
