Dog Daycare Service Policies

Please Note prior to booking:

  • All dogs must be assessed before acceptance into our premises
  • Our dog daycare center operates on structured attendance and routine, we are not a drop in style center.
  • Any canine that has not attended our daycare facility in 3 months or longer will be subject to an initial ‘trial visit’, acceptance into the service is subject to the outcome of this session.
  • All canines attending our service MUST have obedience and practice good training routines. Canines that are disruptive or lack obedience will not be permitted into the service.
  • Feedback is provided to all attendees owners as required, owners MUST adhere to feedback regardless of positive or negative. We work with owners to ensure the best environment for all canines in our service. Failure to take on board our feedback regarding the outcome of a particular day for their canine can result in not being accepted back into the service.
  • Anti-social or intimidating behaviour towards other canines or staff will NOT be tolerated and result in being terminated from the service.  
  • Dogs must be desexed and fully vaccinated including kennel cough
  • Dirty Dogz Dayspa & Daycare must be provided with a current minimum C3 or C5 vaccination certificate (from your vet).
  • Must be a social animal. Any aggressive animals will be refused access
  • Puppies welcome after they are fully vaccinated (proof MUST be provided) and must be desexed before reaching 10 months of age (maximum)  
  • Spaces are strictly limited and we prioritize those that wish to attend every week and be on a regular routine. Canines that don’t secure a spot for weekly or fortnightly attendance will not be guaranteed a spot.
  • Canines that don’t secure a spot for weekly or fortnightly attendance will not always be guaranteed a spot.
  • Daycare Bulk visit packs (x5 or x10) cannot be used for half day visits. Half day visits must be paid for at standard rate.

Pet Grooming Service Policies

Please Note prior to booking:

GROOMING APPOINTMENT ‘NO SHOW’ POLICY

*Effective 1st January 2023*

Clients that book a grooming service with us and ‘confirm’ their appointment then are a ‘no show’ or give less than 24 hrs notice will be charged 50% of the service booked as a fee.
24 hrs or less is not enough time for us to fill a spot, A professional business has several over heads. A major overhead being staff, staff are allocated based on bookings for each trading day. Over the years we have done our best to absorb this issue however as this is becoming a more frequent occurrence, we must introduce this policy given the unprecedented damage it causes to a small business.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a ‘no show’ to your appointment after you have ‘confirmed’ the booking you will be charged
50% of the balance of that service which MUST be paid PRIOR to your next appointment, an invoice can be sent to your email or bank transfer can be arranged.

OUR INTENTION TO CANCEL FUTURE APPOINTMENTS

PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel all your future appointments with us and refuse any further appointments being made at our discretion if you have cancelled or not attended 3 consecutive appointments. Our grooming appointment schedule system is reserved for those that can stick to a disciplined attendance routine.

FINISHED GROOM DISCREPANCY

Whilst every effort is made to ensure a premium quality and outstanding groom each and every time, unfortunately sometimes certain factors can intefere with the desired outcome. No human being is perfect though we certainly try (no pun intended).  In the rare event that a groom is not to your liking or desired outcome we provide a 24hr post groom window of time for you to raise your concern with us regarding this matter and we will endeavour to have the groom rectified at a time that suits. 

PLEASE NOTE your concern MUST be raised to us within 24hrs of Canine or Feline collection from our site. I.E we cannot be responsible for a concern raised several days or weeks or even months post appointment.

LATE ANIMAL COLLECTION

Animals in our care regardless of receiving a grooming service or daycare service which is collected after our end of day trading hours will be charged a ‘late fee’. This fee is at a rate of $1 per minute and charged for every minute owner is late beyond our closing time. Total of late fee is calculated and added to any amount owing for any services received and must be paid for in full on the day of service.
